Sponsorship Information
Sponsorship of Desert-Rats Racing offers the following
benefits for your company:
- A chance to be identified with an exciting race team with proven
potential.
- Your Company Logo on each race bike, rider leathers and team
vehicles - providing high visibility for the media and the general
public.
- Your Company name printed next to each riders name in the various
programs offered by the different racing organizations we race under.
- Pit access to each event, providing the chance to experience the
excitement close up and rub shoulders with all the high profile racers.
- The opportunity to entertain your staff and clients nationwide via
the broad range of geographical racing locations.
- Publicity opportunities. Apart from meeting your reasonable
requests we will seek to maximize your investment by promoting a high
profile with media representatives at all of our racing venues.
- Regular feedback from the riders with fully audited accounts of
each race weekend.
- Web advertising and any related links from www.desert-rats.net.
Types of Sponsorships:
Full Sponsorship - Full sponsorship includes practice,
entry, tires and race fuel fees for a race weekend. This can be worked
out so one rider receives a full sponsorship at least once a year or
more depending on the amount of funding.
Tire Sponsorship - Tire sponsorships can be either a
fixed amount of funding so the rider(s) can purchase tires or the
sponsor may purchase the tires and send them to the rider(s) of their
choice for each race weekend.
Flat Rate Sponsorship - As the name suggests, this is a
fixed amount of funding that can be paid monthly to annually and divided
amongst the riders or set amounts can go to the rider(s) at the
sponsors discretion.
Discount Sponsorship - A discount sponsorship involves
a motorcycle related business, aftermarket parts manufacturer or
supplier. This type of sponsorship simply allows the team members to
purchase parts and supplies at cost + shipping and tax (if applicable)
from the sponsor.
These are not the only possibilities of sponsorships, only the most
common. There are many other plans that are open to discussion and
negotiation. No matter which plan you choose your company name or logo
will appear on the motorcycles. The amount of funding by comparison to
the other sponsors will determine the size and location of your name or
logo on the motorcycles. See Levels of Sponsorship.
Levels of Sponsorship:
Premier Sponsor
- Maximum of one Premier Sponsor.
- The best advertising positions on the sides of the motorcycles and
trailers.
- A patch on the riders leathers with name/logo and sponsor colors.
- Title mention as premier sponsor in all verbal and written
references.
- Promotional rights to motorcycles, riders images and team name for
marketing purposes.
- The greatest concentration of time to promotional activities.
- Personal promotion by riders.
- Receive photos of riders and motorcycles.
Major Sponsor
- Maximum of two Major Sponsors.
- Share half of advertising space either on each side of motorcycles
and section on trailers sides or rear doors.
- Share title mention in all verbal and written references.
- Share promotional rights to motorcycles, riders images and team
name for marketing purposes.
- Share concentration of time to promotional activities.
- Share personal promotions by riders.
- Share space on riders leathers.
- First option on Premier Sponsorship for next season, if available.
- Receive photos of riders and motorcycles.
Associate/ Product Sponsor
- Unlimited number of Associate/ Product Sponsors.
- Share limited advertising space on motorcycles and trailers.
- Share promotional rights to motorcycles, riders images and team
name for marketing purposes.
- Share concentration of time to promotional activities.
- Share personal promotions by riders.
- First option on available Major Sponsorships for next season.
- Receive photos of riders and motorcycles.
